Etymology:
Vega is the brightest star in the constellation Lyra (it represents a jewel set
in the body of the harp), the fifth brightest star in the sky and the second brightest
star in the Norther celestial hemisphere. In approximately AD 14,000, Vega will
become the North Star, owing to the precession of the equinoxes. |

is the name of a character that I (Mike) used when writing a short story during
my stay in Chamonix. I thought at the time that it would be a big name for my
